Does it seem like some scripture passages or sermons are directed at you – about the priesthood, or the call of the disciples, or service? Passages that seem to stand out for you and have a kind of clarity; as if a light comes on; or it warms your heart; or it feels as if someone is pointing at you.
Maybe you find that you want to pray more and deepen your faith. Your love for Christ is growing, as it the love for the Church. More and more you desire to give your life to God and to serve others.
Although you may feel you are not interested in the priesthood and becoming a priest is not something you would ever do, perhaps you may want to pay attention to this nagging feeling you have deep inside, as it may be God's way of calling you. Be open to the call. Explore it!
This may be the will of God for you.

You may not necessarily feel the call to the priesthood, but still have a calling to serve the Church as a deacon who assists the priests at Mass and can administer other Sacraments such as Baptism, Marriage, and Holy Communion.
