The role of a church usher is to help first-time guests, repeat visitors, and members experience the sacredness and joy of celebrating the Sacrifice of the Mass. The ministry of church ushers plays a vital role in the hospitality and welcome of our church. Duties include helping people find seating, collecting offerings, keeping order at the entrance, distributing bulletins, and attendance counting.
Parishioners are needed to assist prior to, during and after Sunday Masses and Holy Days.
Church greeters welcome, inform, and serve guests at the entrance to our buildings. They focus on guests and members in the lobby and can engage in meaningful small talk and add to the welcoming experience as worshipers come to attend the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
